Lyngby Taarbaek Municipality
Lyngby Taarbæk Municipality wanted to investigate the possibility of automating the transport of waste and linen carts using TUG robots. To assess the potential of this investment, ProjectPartner has conducted a feasibility study based on a value stream analysis. The analysis has clarified how much working time the staff currently spends transporting waste and linen, as well as what this time costs in kroner and øre. The purpose has been to identify whether an automated solution can free up time for the important relationship work with the residents. The value stream analysis is also a good basis for a possible implementation, as it provides a clear overview of workflows and improvement potential. The results thus form the basis for a qualified decision on whether robotic technology can create both economic and human value in everyday life.

Bøgildlund Care Center
Bøgildlund Care Center in Ikast is a newly built and modern care center with a special focus on technology and dementia-friendly design. The center is beautifully located in scenic surroundings and is architecturally structured like a clover, where each department constitutes a clover leaf. In collaboration with ProjectPartner, Bøgildlund has had a business case prepared to assess whether it is worthwhile to invest in TUG robots for transporting garbage trucks. The purpose is to free up staff time so that it can be used to a greater extent on the present relationship work with the residents. The care center is still under construction, and in the second stage – the construction of the second clover leaf – ProjectPartner was chosen as the supplier of the robot solution and the adaptation of the associated undercarriages.
